Frequently Asked Questions

The VIP day is for anyone looking to have their website done or updated. Whether you’re a blogger, a creative or an entrepreneur. Newbie getting your website started for the first time or established brand looking to get a facelift.

A day of intensive work can be sufficient for a lot of different types of projects.

Most of the client work is done in the prep time ahead of the VIP day. However, you will need to be available for feedback especially if it’s a design or refresh project. This usually looks like replying to messages throughout the day while you’re working on something else.

This will be very project-specific. However, as a general rule I’ll need to have in advance:

All text content (this can be done by you or a copywriter you work with)
Photos and images (anything from your headshot, to stock photos you want to use for your brand. I will not look for stock photos for your brand during the VIP day as it’s time consuming and will take away from getting the job done)
Logo, brand colors and any elements you currently use or want to incorporate
Logins to all applicable accounts
A questionnaire to get to know your brand and goals better

This should be submitted at least 7 days prior to the VIP day so I can review everything and ask for clarifications if needed.

You’re booking me for the day, so there are no set deliverables. It will depend on your specific project and other factors such as the completion of the prep work, and availability for feedback throughout the day. During our pre-booking call and kick-off call we can always address expectations for your specific project.

The current cost for the VIP day is $1,500. I do require a 50% payment up front to book the date and the remaining balance is due at the end of the VIP day. You will receive a separate invoice for that. You can book up to 90 days in advance so that can help break up the payment, but that is the only payment arrangement available at the moment.

This can certainly be addressed during a call. If your project will take more than a day, I can work with you on a project price or bundle multiple VIP days for a mid-size project.

I work with the Kadence theme as a general rule. It’s what I recommend for best performance. A VIP day will not be a fully custom from scratch theme. We can look at options of customizing one of the free themes included in that or I can suggest some Kadence child themes that you will need to purchase as a separate license from the designer.

Maintaining a WordPress site does have some ongoing costs. Those will not necessarily be associated through me. You will need to pay your domain registration yearly and monthly hosting service. I can offer you premium hosting packages or give you suggestions on what companies to use. I also offer website care packages for ongoing maintenance for existing clients. This can be discussed as well.

To ensure each client receives focused, quality attention, I only dedicate 1-2 days per month exclusively to VIP projects. This limited availability guarantees a high level of service and personalized results.
